It’s funny where blog inspiration hits. I had just taken out a plastic tub full of Morrocan lentil soup from the fridge for my lunch when the magnets displayed there caught my eye and I wondered what other people’s fridges look like.

So, I’ve eaten my lentil soup (lunch) and I’ve taken some photos of my fridge and some close ups of a few of my favourite magnets to share with you. I hope you will share photos of your fridges with me or at least describe them to me in the comments. Are they sparkly and clean? As blank as the day you bought it or dotted with magnets? I want to know, I’m nosey like that.

And looking at that I can tell it’s time for a wipe down! Aren’t you amazed by how dirty hands actually are? That white fridge seems to stay clean for only a matter of minutes at a time. *L*

Our fire alarm is too sensitive, no really it is. I’m not *that* bad of a cook. The forever friend bears are magnetic representations of the husband and I. He’s the bear with the mug of tea and I’m the bear with the rose. So now you know!

We tend to pick up magnets on holiday and here’s one from the best place on earth:

Another magnet picked up on holiday. I brought this home for my husband from my trip to Disneyland Paris in August. The photo in the frame is from when we went to Llandudno for a day out.

And lastly, even my fridge loves a bit of Blisse!

Today is National Poetry Day, hurray. I love Poetry. When I as a kid, the book I most often got from the library was the penguin book of Children’s poems. Every time I read it I found new poems that pulled me in but my favourite was always Macavity the Mystery Cat by TS Eliot. As I looked at more and more poetry I found Michael Rosen, who is still a favourite poet of mine to this day along with Roger McGough and Adrian Henri who I once had the pleasure of meeting.

I love to play with words and though mostly I do write stories I often write shorter, more lyrical stories which are more commonly known as poems. Here is a very short example of my poetic style, I hope you like it.

Inspiration.
Your words always inspire my emotions to dance.
my mind to explore
and my soul to stand still and rest.

I am pleased to announce that I have just finished the edits on Getting Intimate so it is all ready and polished up for it’s release on the 21st December and in celebration I am going to share a short snippet with you all.

It’s my first paranormal story and I’m very, very excited about it’s release. I can’t wait but I suppose I’ll just have to. Just like you will too!

And there’s more, with my erotic vampire story, The Point scheduled for April 2010 about Hugh who is who runs a vampire bar called ‘The Point’ where he and other vampires pay humans to drink their blood but when he meets a doctor named Elizabeth, things all become much more complicated.
