2, It’s Blissemas! Oh yes it is. :)
3, Jingle Blisse, Jingle Blisse, Jingle all the way! Nothing like a good jingle to get me in the Christmas mood.
4,Blisse Christmas It’s nto quite the title of a film but close enough!
5, I saw Mummy Blisseing Santa Claus! Oh my, oh my, that is very, very rude indeed!
So, can you think of any more songs of Blissemas?
Christmas music is very evocative isn’t it? You hear a tune and it immediately puts you in the mood. In my upcoming Christmas Release Snowed in at School, I use a song that I think of every time it snows.
Baby, it’s cold Outside and this version is the one that I think of, it always makes me smile and Tom Jones is just iconic, bless him. I don’t want to through my knickers at him though, you’ll be glad to know. :)

Anyway, here’s the blurb for Snowed in at School, it’ll be available on the 22nd December.
The weather outside is frightful…
Gary and Lucy, two teachers, are snowed in the school together on Christmas Eve. Gary tries to wade across the school playground to freedom but all that happens is he ends up wet and trouserless and Lucy has to work out some way to warm him up. Could this be the ideal opportunity for her to make her sexiest fantasies come true?
You’ll have to read it to see where the song comes into play and how!
Remember to comment in this season of Blissemas as you could be in to win 15 prizes! To find out more details check yesterday’s blog!

Friends Friday – AM Hartnett on fickle muses.
posted in Friends Friday | Tagged: #FF, A M Hartnett
So there’s this girl, right? She’s got a crush on this friend-of-a-friend and she’s pretty sure he’s into her too, but not sure enough to actually take the plunge. Of course, fate intervenes and puts them in the same bed. You can guess where this is going …
If I have a muse, then that was the pitch she gave me when the idea for Head Over Heels last year.
It’s a simple premise and to be honest I originally imagined it taking place in an urban setting, maybe after a wedding or a night out. I pictured a couple still rosy from walking in the snow, high heels kicked off at the foot of the bed, and the smell of his cologne lingering in the room.
As any writer will tell you, ideas are fairly disposable. I eventually lost interest for no reason except that it didn’t click. The characters really weren’t saying anything to me.
Then I went on vacation and all that changed. Suddenly, the couple were enjoying the cottage I was staying in. They were visiting the same places I was visiting, taking pictures of the same sites, eating the same food, and so on. It wasn’t just a change of scenery: it was a change of characters. They went from personifying their chaotic urban setting to immersing themselves in their beachy surroundings and really discovering one another.

After I plunked them in the middle of cottage country the words just flowed and their adventure together evolved. By the time I got to the end, Chrissie and Sam made it clear to me that they wouldn’t have fallen for one another anywhere else in the world.

Head Over Heels is now available from Total-E-Bound
Excerpt:
Chrissie Lowe felt like she’d been on the hiking trail for hours. Her feet hurt. Her calves hurt. Her back hurt. Her libido was amped up to such a degree that she felt like sinking her teeth into something.
Sinking her teeth into Sam Ferguson’s ass, to be precise.
He had been behind her, but when they’d reached the embankment about a quarter of a mile back, he’d jumped ahead of her so he could help her up. Now she was stuck staring at his backside.
And what a backside it was. Nice and round and clenching with every step he took. Those cargo shorts were going to be the death of her.
It wasn’t just his ass. His upper body was obscured by his backpack but the entire lower body got a standing ovation. He had thick thighs and muscled calves that were dusted with blond hair. Even the scratches and scuffs on his bare legs were sexy.
She could hear his breath coming in hard spurts as he hoofed it up the incline and occasionally grunted. Delicious sex sounds. Every such sound went right between her legs.
“I can see why they took the long way,” he said and glanced over his shoulder. “They probably beat us to the lake.”
Chrissie bobbed her head and took a moment to catch her breath. “Is this where you stop being Mr. Outdoors and admit that this is killing you?”
“I admit nothing except that I’m not in the shape I was in five or so years ago.”
There was sweat on the back of his neck that formed a ring around the collar of his grey T-shirt. The shirt was coming off soon. It always did after he started to sweat through it. When it did her palms would itch from wanting to run all over that hard chest. His shorts would slip just a little over his narrow hips and she’d get a flash of the black waistband of his jockeys. The hot flashes she’d been having would turn into a full-body burn, and then the real suffering would start.

The Point catapults us into Hugh’s dark world. He’s a tormented soul, prey to his own carnal desires. Solitude-seeking Elizabeth, a hospital doctor, hardly seems the type of female who’d bond with a vampire. But she arrives on his land, delicately picking her way through the tall grass, until she wrenches an ankle. Then it’s a bit like Jane Eyre’s first meeting with Mr Rochester but this time with the woman needing help. And help is what Elizabeth receives although she doesn’t twig that her rescuer has more than a little of the night about him.
Hugh’s speech is an endearingly strange mix of contemporary and stilted, perfect for a guy well into his second century. And I’m not talking cricket scores here. His clothes intrigue Elizabeth but she assumes he’s either eccentric or dressed to party. She’s in shock and juggling concern for her personal safety whilst acknowledging the powerful attraction between herself and her mysterious rescuer.
Sexual tension’s far harder to achieve than the committing of the act to the page. The scene where Hugh helps Elizabeth strip off her wet clothing resonates like the slow plucking of guitar strings. The unlikely couple conduct her undressing almost as if they’re partners in some courtship rite. Dressing her in a Victorian gown is a deft touch and triggers the unleashing of her sexuality.
After she returns to work her suspicions are aroused when a young woman’s admitted for treatment. Elizabeth’s civilised world collides with Hugh’s sinister domain when she follows a lead and confronts him. Lush descriptions of blood dripping, juices flowing and good intentions dissolving inhabit The Point. It’s not just a vampire story. It’s a story of lust and love. And that, my friend, is too potent a combination to resist.

I got snow, lots and lots of snow! I do rather love snow, it’s so fresh and white and sparkly. I know lots of people hate it and yes, once it goes slushy and then icy I’m not it’s biggest fan but whilst it’s fluffy and sparkly it makes my winter world a happier place.

So today I spent a pleasant day inside the house looking out on the snow. I might love the white stuff but I also like to be warm. It seems such a lovely way to spend the first day of December. It’s all very festive and it makes me want to watch Christmas films and get the decorations out!
Are you feeling Christmassy yet?
Well, here’s an excerpt from Christmas Spirit Warms the Heart to bring a little seasonal cheer to you! This is from the part of the story where Jodi and Mike, the reluctant lovers are taking a ride on Santa’s sleigh. No, really!
A few stops later, Santa passed Jodi a big thermos flask. “This place is massive. I’ll be gone a while. Help yourself to this. It’s Christmas spirit. I get so much left out for me, I can’t drink it all. So I save it up in here. It’s a good brew but strong. Oh and if you like.” Santa flicked down a little door, like a glove compartment just in front of Mike. “In there is a plate
of cookies. I get lots of those, too. Oh, but just look out for the really homemade-looking ones. The little children make them themselves, and they’re cute but rarely tasty.”He chuckled again and leapt off onto the snow-covered turret of the European-looking castle below.
“Any idea where the hell we are?” Jodi chirruped with a lighter soul than she’d had in a long time.
“Not a bleeding clue,” Mike replied also feeling the strange, light-hearted soul business and resigned to enjoying it to the fullest. They both collapsed laughing then Jodi unscrewed the cap of the old, red tartan-patterned flask.
She inhaled and moaned, “That smells so good.” She moved in closer to Mike, his body pressed up along her arm. “Smell,” she commanded. He slipped his nose just above the flask opening and moaned softly, too. “It smells so sweet and…and good.” He could think of no other way to say it. Jodi poured a large drop into the flask lid and offered it to Mike, who offered it back to her for the first sip.
He watched her thin but sensual lips as they clasped the edge of the plastic cup and observed the way her eyes closed in enjoyment as the liquid coursed down her throat. He felt the stirrings of arousal in the pit of his stomach. A moment later, he realised why she looked so happy in that moment. Drinking from Santa’s flask was like drinking liquid joy.
A pleasured growl fell from his lips. “So good,” he gasped.
Jodi nodded and giggled. The small sip of Christmas Spirit went straight to her head and, unexpectedly, to her pelvis, too. Jodi was not usually a particularly sensual woman. She had never understood the attraction of touch and closeness. She’d always recoiled from the touch of her mother, the touch of strangers felt alien and uncomfortable to her, and she’d never had any other touching experience. But at that moment, she craved touch. She wanted something she wasn’t sure about, but she knew she had to feel Mike’s touch—everywhere.
The Christmas spirit worked in a similar way with Mike. He felt stirrings he’d not experienced in a long time. A childhood full of abuse put him off sex. In his mind, it was a dirty, degrading act used to wield power over someone smaller and weaker. He had been subjected to sexual abuse from a man, but it had put him off all kinds of sexual activity since.
However, he found he was feeling something, a stirring, a gentle warming of want. “That’s potent stuff.” He coughed and reached into the glove compartment for a cookie.
At the same second, Jodi did the same thing, and their heads met with a soft thud.
“Sorry,” Jodi apologised and moved her head against his until they were face to face.
She’d really meant to move away and disengage then carry on and pick up that cookie, but magically, her lips met his, and all she could feel was him. His arms wrapped around her and pulled her closer. Gently, he cradled her to his chest. His lips danced tentatively on hers with such grace and lightness it made her feel dizzy with new, powerful emotions.
“Err hmm!”
A Santa-sized cough barked from the side of the sleigh, and the newly lip-locked lovers parted—well, their lips did at least. Mike kept an arm around Jodi’s waist to keep her close to him. That touch was too important to be lost. He needed to feel that connection, the reminder of that kiss.Dear God, that kiss had been perfect, just so perfect. It was like snow on Christmas morning or the feeling you get when you open the wrapping on that gift you never knew you wanted but is exactly the right one for you.
