Do you enjoy the winter?
I love it. Winter in the Rockies is a beautiful and inspiring time of year. After a snowstorm, the mountains look just like a picture postcard. I enjoy snowshoeing in the forest, and taking winter camping trips to the desert with friends, exploring the ruins at Chaco Canyon, Comb Ridge, and Mesa Verde. It’s wonderful to visit in the winter-time- there aren’t as many tourists, so we’ve got the place to ourselves. Sometimes this leads to naughty adventures in the great outdoors. Nothing better than cuddling up with a good book- or a good man- on a cold and blustery winter day.
Do you write about the winter holidays (Christmas etc) often?
I’m a witch, so I celebrate the Winter Solstice with friends each December. I’ve written several poems and short stories about different aspects of winter holidays and the seasons. The beauty of the snow-capped peaks is an endless inspiration, this time of year!
What’s your favourite festive tale?
The holidays can be a stressful time. I love to soak away my cares in a bubble-bath, with a glass of red wine and a good book. Right now I’m re-reading Helen Fielding’s novel, Bridget Jones’ Diary. Her hilarious antics are always good for a laugh!
Is winter sexy?
Winter is a very sexy time of year. I feel most alive in the winter-time, and spend lots of time reading- and writing- steamy, seductive stories to keep me warm! When I’m stressed from too much holiday shopping, I like to treat myself to a pedicure and a massage- a little pampering keeps me feeling sexy and energized throughout the holiday season. My favorite holiday tradition is kissing beneath the mistletoe- if it were up to me, we’d do that year-round, not just at Christmas-time.
What’s your latest release tell us all about it!
I recently had two short stories published in the erotica anthology, Seducing the Myth, edited by Lucy Felthouse. What an amazing project. I’m honored to have been chosen. The stories I submitted are very different. “Saving Orpheus” is an erotic re-imagining of the tale of Orpheus. It begins when Orpheus is cast out of Hades, suicidal with grief. As the tale unfolds, we meet a bold naiad who saves his life and gives him a second chance at love. “The Weary Traveller” tells the tale of a bard who wanders into Faerie for a surprising, lusty encounter with the Fey Queen and her faerie maidens. The fabulous Ms. Felthouse collected sexy renditions of myths and legends throughout the world, compiling them into one steamy volume. Need a hot, sexy read to keep you up all night? Look no further!
Do you believe in Father Christmas?
I’m a big believer in the Christmas spirit, whether or not I celebrate the holiday itself. I live in a small community that does a lot to help the needy, especially around the holidays. Lots of folks are supporting diaper drives and food drives, silent auctions, The Giving Tree, and other events. Larger organizations like Project Merry Christmas and the Salvation Army, and other programs provide local families with emergency funds for bills, gas cards, warm winter coats, and hot meals, along with the little extras to help their kids have a happy holiday. I don’t know about Father Christmas and his army of toy-making elves, but I believe in that. I love the spirit of giving and generosity so evident in our community.
What’s your Favourite festive food?
You can get the most gorgeous oranges at Christmas time. I love eating them in bed with a lover, then licking each other clean…
Which film do you watch over again at Christmas time?
I love ‘A Christmas Story’ and National Lampoon’s ‘Christmas Vacation’. I also love the old classic Claymation version of ‘Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.’ For more adult fare, the film ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’ is always a favorite.
Do you get much writing done between the festivities?
I’m a dedicated writer. Rare is the day when I don’t put pen to page and compose something new. Holidays can be a distraction- or an inspiration! I’m in a very creative period right now, with tons of ideas flowing.
I have a special holiday gift for your readers, Victoria. I’m happy to announce I’ll be giving away three copies of my e-book, Her Captive Muse, to three commenters on this site. Just tell me about your sexiest holiday encounter in the comments section below, and I’ll choose a winner before the holidays. The 12th day of Blissemas Book Launch!

Hello folks it’s me again for the Blissemas blog today because I’ve got a new book release yaaaaay!
Yoyu might have gathered by now that I love Christmas. I am the kind of person who loves carols and Christmas music and Christmas films too. I really revel in the season and so I always like to have a festive book or two available in December and so this tends to lead me to writing them back sometime in the middle of the summer!
In Charles Dicken’s A Christmas Carol Scrooge promises to Keep Christmas in his heart all year through. In one of my favourite festive films they even sing about it!
It is the season of the heart
A special time of caring
The ways of love made clear
It is the season of the spirit
The message if we hear it
Is make it last all year
I hope in some way I manage to capture this magic all year round Christmas love in my latest story Always Christmas in Lincoln.

It isn’t really always Christmas in Lincoln but when Felicity gets her man it feels like it.
Felicity hates Christmas. It reminds her of a traumatic event from her childhood. She thinks the Permanent Christmas shop is tacky, with its windows full of trees and tinsel all year round and would rather it disappeared from her picturesque home town.
When she discovers that Carl, who she lusts over every time she sees him in the tea rooms, is in fact the owner of Ho, Ho, Ho! She’s not quite sure what to think. It takes a sexy meeting in the middle of a fake winter wonderland to make her realise the advantages of Christmas in the middle of summer.
As time passes, Carl and Felicity indulge in more sexy liaisons but as Christmas approaches Felicity doubts whether she is anything more than a sensual distraction for the festive shop owner and when her handsome ex, Sean, sweeps into town on a quest to win her back she finds she has a tough decision to make.
Can Carl and his Christmas cheer win over her hardened heart?
Here’s an exciting excerpt from the story for you to enjoy, I hope it puts you in the mood for Christmas! Just to set the scene, Carl has walked Felicity home and they’ve kissed on the doorstep. When she invited him in he helped her to take her coat and warm outer layers off but he has kept her arms trapped behind her in the tightly cinched arms of her coat so she is at his mercy!
“Nice tree,” he said as he pushed me down onto the sofa. I crossed my arms behind me in an effort to get comfortable. He knelt on the floor between my thighs and flipped up the front of my skirt and the modest petticoats beneath. He confidently rested his hands on my hips, gripped, then pulled down, peeling the sticky satin from my dampened pussy. He ran his hands down my legs as he backed away, until he had unhooked my knickers, and quickly retook his position between my thighs.
He wiggled down until he was at a level where he could kiss gently up from my knee to my wet and waiting slit. He grabbed my buttocks and encouraged me closer to the edge of the sofa. He strained to lap and lick every exposed inch of my creaming pussy. He prodded his tongue inside me then sucked my clit. He kept varying the pace and the action and kept me, quite literally, on the edge of my seat.
I wanted to come. I was straining to press more of my flesh to his lips. I was desperate for the slow, bubbling pleasure to boil over into the raging fire of ecstatic release, but the teasing bastard kept me right on the brink. I opened my eyes for a moment and glanced down my body I could see he was enjoying denying me.
“Let me come, Carl, please, I need to come,” I begged, my gaze locked with his.
“Not yet,” he replied, pulling back and slowly licking his lips. “I’ve not finished with you yet.”
I should have kept my mouth shut, as he stood up then and moved over to sit next to me on the sofa.
“Sit forward,” he said and I complied. He released me from my coat bonds. I was relieved. It was an expensive item and I knew I would rip it if I thrashed around in it much longer. Life tingled back into my fingers as I pulled my hands round in front of me and rubbed my arms.
“I need to fuck you, Felicity, I need to fuck you now.” The use of my full name sent chills down my spine. I smiled and simply nodded in reply. It was either consent or confirmation of need—more than likely both.
“Kneel there,” he said, “lean on the chair arm.”
I eagerly complied—I loved to be fucked from behind. I felt very exposed, my knickers discarded, my skirt and petticoats in disarray and my bottom poking out beneath them. Carl gently stroked my arse with one hand as the sound of a zip parting indicated that he was readying himself to fuck me. It felt so much longer, but only a few moments later he slammed into me.
I loved how he thrust into me, so hard and primal. I was no longer bound but I still felt like he was in control, like he was using me for his pleasure. I wanted that, needed that, because pleasing him made me feel good.
“So good,” he crooned, his fingers digging into the flesh of my hips. “So fucking good.”
The old couch creaked as we swayed in rhythm. The twinkling Christmas lights gave a sweet, festive feel that seemed almost to clash with the raw lust of Carl and I fucking, unabashed, a few metres away from it. I loved it. As I climbed towards my climax, I wished that I could delay it so I could fully enjoy the grit and passion of the moment. I couldn’t hold it in, though—I had balanced on the edge of pleasure for too long. I came with a loud scream that I’m sure disturbed the neighbours. My pussy pulsed and the pressure pulled the orgasm from within Carl’s body. He pushed deep into me and held there. A gravelly grunt exited his lips and I felt his cock flex within me. I slumped forward, my knees no longer able to hold my weight.
“Wow,” I gasped, panting hard. “Wow.”
“I echo that remark.” He sounded as puffed out as me, if not more so. I finally made my limbs move and snuggled up beside him. My stomach rumbled audibly.
“Oh, I think it must be teatime. Are you staying for something to eat?”
“I’m sorry, Fliss, I wish I could, but I need to go now.” He looked at his watch. “Things to do, you know?”
“Oh, yeah, sure.” Unconvinced, I tried to raise a smile. He fastened his trousers, then leaned in to kiss me.
“If I don’t see you before, I’ll see you on Christmas day. Is one o’clock good for you?”
“Yeah.” I nodded my head. “That’s fine.”
I offered him a piece of paper and a pen to write down his address and saw him out of the door. I felt funny. I knew I should have felt all happily blissed-out, but his quick exit worried me. Did he not really like me? Was he just in it for the sex? I mean, it would seem strange to invite someone for Christmas dinner just to shag her, but why else would he rush off so quickly?
I don’t know about anyone else but that certainly warmed me up! Phew. To get your copy check out Total -e-Bound today!
So how do you keep the spirit of Christmas all the year through? Remember every comment here puts you in the prize draw to win a kindle! Check blissemas.co.uk for terms and conditions.
