In every case, Victoria Blisse has captured all aspects of the stories remarkably well. Her stories are well described and the writing is very visual, both in the explicit and the romantic moments. The erotic factor increases as the stories go on and it’s difficult not to picture what is going on in any given situation, which I suspect is part of the genre’s appeal and, indeed, the whole point to it. However, she’s not just an erotic writer, as the sections between the sexual scenes are equally well written and she has a romantic side to match anyone and the combination makes the stories feel more real, not just writing. Her use of language is excellent, with some clever pieces of writing that I didn’t expect and some poetic turns of phrase that added touches of beauty in amongst the more basic needs of the characters.
