I am a poet and I didn’t even know it. Well, I did. I’ve written poetry for years, I remember one year winning an easter poetry competition in Junior school. The prize was a great big chocolate egg. So when I saw a call for submissions to a phaze poetry anthology I just had to send in some submissions and was thrilled to get 3 of my poems into Phaze in Verse.

It is difficult to share an excerpt as I can’t share part of a poem so here is a Christmas Poem which is actually included with my story Christmas Cake but will give you an idea of my style!
Adult Christmas Fun
Balls jingle beneath the tree
hung with care.
Candy cane proud,
red, hard and long,
is a sweet present
for a good little girl.
Joyful carol rises as she lifts and falls,
giving thanks for the present she plays.
Like the angel on the tree
she perches,
looking down and blessing man
with her sweetness.
“Oh, oh, oh!â€
she cries as “Ho, ho, ho!†echoes through the skies.
Christmas is fun for adults as well.
And Phaze in verse and Christmas Cake are both available at phaze right now with 20% off using the SANTA promotional Code.
And (yes, another one) you can win a copy of Phaze in Verse just by commenting on this post! Winners will be announced tomorrow!

Sounds like an interesting idea, not sure how well it’d work but I’m willing to give it a try.
I want to WIN!!!!
