Yep, we’re at it again. way back in the summer Alison Kent started the 70 days of sweat phenomenon. I joined in because I love a good challenge and aimed for 70-90k within those 70 sweat filled days. I made 70k on several different projects. It really helped my writing and focused me in on being an author -it helped me write more and procrastinate less.
And now it’s back.
It’s been going for just over a week and I’ve done really well. 10,613 words down and I’ve had a few no-write days. I know there’s a long way to go before I’ll finish, but I know I’m going to enjoy this challenge as much as I did the last one.
Anyone else who’s sweating, let me know. I’d love to keep up with other mad, I mean talented authors who are taking on the challenge.
And talking of challenges, I’m now gearing up for this Years NaNoWriMo.

Okay, so picture this. I’m cleaning the kitchen and all the sides and cooker and such are sparkly so I go on to mop the floor, I grab my metal handled mop and the middle bit bends. it’s not supposed to bend. it looks like it’s been trapped in something and as I try to delicately use it, it breaks in half!
So, with the mother in law and her sister due to land after we drop off boo at school I have no time to go buy a new mop. so what do I do? I clean the whole damn kitchen floor on my hands and knees with a piece of kitchen towel and kitchen spray. I then go and do the same in the bathroom managing to find a sliver of glass next to the bath by running my finger over it and getting it stuck in aforementioned finger. so not only am I on hands and knees scrubbing the bathroom floor I’m doing it with my right hand (I’m left handed) with a big wodge of loo roll wrapped round my bloody finger.
I get washed and dressed, knowing I’ve just got a few pots to put away and a bit of hoovering to do and I hear the phone ring. I answer it – who is it at 8am? The mother in law.
They are *not* coming today ‘cos she’s not well enough. They’ll come tommorrow instead.
AAAAAARRRRRRGGHH! all that scrubbing and i could have waited and gone and got a new mop *cries*
So that is how my day started, I’m glad to say it got better. My husband and I watched our little girl’s harvest festival and then went to do a little bit of shopping. After that, wel let’s say we did some research for my erotica writing and I caught a little nap.
I’ve slipped in a little review writing and promotional posting before and after picking my daughter up from school. I cooked and served tea (a simple beef stew, broccoli and mash) and then set to keeping on top of the housework so I don’t have to do anything tommorrow when the Mother in law says she’s going to turn up.
How glamourous is this, hey? Don’t you just long to have the life of a Rosy, Raunchy Romance Authoress? If you do please let me know and I’ll let you have it! *grins*
A new logo and other good news!

Hello dear readers, have you noticed the new and rather gorgeous logo next to this post? No, well here it is in all it’s glory.

Isn’t it beautiful? Let me know what it conjures up in your mind when you look at it, if I like it, you might get a special prize!
Now, on to other news :)
My very first ebook release was Proving Santa Exists which is a sexy and sweet Christmas tale. I have a special fondness for writing about Christmas, it’s a great time of year and I love sharing my Christmas Spirit.
Life is good and even having a tooth extracted at the dentist and Man Utd losing yesterday couldn’t dampen my spirits.

Yes, folks for today I celebrate 7 years of married bliss with my husband.
7 years, honestly, I can’t believe it’s that long. We’ve known each other for 10 years now and the mind boggles, it really does. I’ve got so many wonderful memories from our years together, here are the edited highlights.
And dearest Mitnik, thank you so much. I love you, always.

If you’ve got a myspace page please help out, thanks :)
I’m asking for your help to get the word out that folks need to “re-friend” us on MySpace and I’m asking that you “friend” us if you have an account.
Most of you know that ARe has been using MySpace to communicate with readers about The eBookclub. We opened our MySpace page for that purpose and in 2 months we’d managed to accumulate close to 6000 friends.
Apparently that’s too tempting for some hackers. MySpace and Scrapfairy Designs have been quick to respond and our page is back up at the same address but with only 1 friend, Tom.
ARe–The eBookclub is featuring a wonderful read for the month of September and our second eBookblub meeting is going to be in a couple weeks. We have a great fall season planned and are determined to get back on our feet as quickly as possible.
Please repost this to reader and author forums, loops, and on your MySpace page if you have one. Sending a bulletin to your friends asking that they do the same would be a huge help to us. We’re relying on the power of social networking and the good will of our affiliates, readers, and authors to help us. We don’t want our bookclub members to think that we’ve wavered in our commitment to this project or that All Romance eBooks *gasp* deleted them. Here’s the address:

P.S. For those of you who don’t know.. ARe–The eBookclub is a on-line Bookclub specific to romance eBooks. Each month we select a new release to feature. We advance purchase copies from the publisher and give them away to the first fifty members that attempt download. We also promote the book with special Behind the Scenes features, excerpts, and interviews, and host an on-line chat (usually with the author) at The Romance Galleria. This is a great way for people that love romance to get intro duced to eBooks and for people from all around the world that already are fans of romance eBooks to meet and share the experience of a fabulous read.
