Hello all, I’ve had one of the busiest weeks ever but it’s been filled with lots of good things.

Firstly I got a fantastic review for The Point from the ever lovely Lucy Felthouse.
She said:
I really enjoyed this novella. I whizzed through it pretty quickly, mainly because Blisse’s writing style is so easy to read. The tone is light and fun, and the sex is deliciously steamy. The main characters, Hugh and Elizabeth, are very likeable and I think this is important, particularly if an author wants people to want to keep reading about them.
To read the whole thing pop over to her website and check it out.
This was a lovely start to a week full of hard work. I had to finish a short story to submit it on Wednesday. It was hard work but I got there in the end. I will let you know what happens with Snowed in at School as soon as I hear anything. It’s quite a cute little romance about two teachers who fancy the socks off each other but never pluck up the courage to ask each other out but then they get snowed in at school on Christmas Eve and finally they confront their attraction head on.
It was interesting writing about winter and snow and feeling cold in the middle of summer! It certainly helped me to cool down!
So once I finished writing I had to get stuck in to the Stopping Point Edits that my wonderful Total-E-Bound editor Delaney had sent me. Yep, Stopping Point will be out on the 18th October and is book two in the Point Vamp series. I’m glad to say the edits are now done and back with my lovely editor. Hurrah.
And now the best and biggest hurrah of the week. An interview with Miranda Forbes and yours truly appeared in this month’s Writers’ Forum magazine and yesterday I picked up a copy from my local newsagents and squealed in the aisle!
Here’s a photo of part of the article for your viewing pleasure!

How awesome is that, huh?

Now, as a consolation here is an excerpt from my story Naked Rain that features in the fantastically sexy anthology, Big and Beautiful.
. Before she could protest he pulled her to him and their lips collided as his arm wrapped around her and pulled her tightly to him.
His lips pressed against hers, they vibrated with his moan of pleasure and Sandra’s mind stopped working and her instincts kicked in. She kissed back with fevered passion. She enjoyed the undulation of his soft, delicate lips against hers and revelled in the feeling. This was just what she’d imagined, just what she’d fantasised about and the heavy droplets of water covering her back just added to the arousal coursing through her veins.
“You’re so beautiful,” he gasped, as he broke from her lips for a moment. His hands moved from their position on her waist and slipped up to her breasts. She started to pull away, she felt embarrassed. “No, don’t move,” he sighed, “I want to touch you.”
“But, I’m too old for you.” Sandra replied wrapping her fingers around his wrists, meaning to pull him away.
“Stop saying that, age doesn’t matter. Do you know how many times I have fantasised about seeing your beautiful tits? Whenever I see you I get all tongue tied because I become instantly hard and I can’t think for the arousal coursing through my veins.”“Really?” She couldn’t believe what she was hearing and her grip loosened as his hands moved higher to cup her breasts. They both moaned as his thumbs grazed her excited nipples.
“Really, really. I seriously want to fuck you, Sandra. I have done since you moved in.”
His fingers tickled and teased her skin as the rain continued to ping onto her body, the intense cold making her shiver. She wanted to say more, she wanted to deny him, she was outside, in the pouring rain naked and vulnerable and people could see. But as he bent and fell to his knees so that he could caress her and suck on her nipples at the same time she simply whimpered and threw her head back. She knew it was wrong, that she shouldn’t let him do this to her but she didn’t care. She wanted him, she wanted this and she didn’t want it to stop at all.

Hello all, I’m so sorry I haven’t posted in over a week but I have been on my holidays to somewhat sunny Scarborough. I’ve had a lovely time, here are a few edited highlights from my visit so you can see what I’ve been up too.
Well, lets start with the ever delicious Jaconelli’s lemon top ice cream. I love these babies, I know I am on holiday for sure when I’m licking around the cold, creamy ice cream which is topped by sharp, tangy lemon sorbet. Yum yum!

And carrying on the sweet theme we had a lovely visit to the John Bull rock factory where I rolled my own rock (it came out square and broke-oops) and made my own chocolate lolly. This is a photo of me in my chocolate lolly making get up!

We were in Scarborough so obviously we saw alot of the sea and the beach. Now sadly the weather was fairly unpleasant all week (we stayed mostly dry and had fun though) so we only got to play on the beach on the last day. We walked past and admired it lots though!

One of my favourite things to do when in Scarborough is to go on the Miniature railway. It takes me right back to my childhood!

And lastly a photo of me, enjoying the bracing Scarborough air overlooking the beach.

I have been going to Scarborough for a holiday for the last 25 years and have been once a year most years and occassionally even made it there twice in a year. I love it, it’s home from home for me and my family. I hope you’ve enjoyed my holiday snaps.
Now I’m back from my holiday and ready to work. I’ve got my Christmas 2010 story in the works right now and am preparing to do another interview for total-e-talk radio which I know is going to be great fun. I promise to be better at updating my blog this week!

Total-E-Bound Newsletter you will find a little short story by me! It’s called To Comfort a Vampire and is set in The Point, the club that has the same name as my very first Point Vamp book.
It’s about a curvy young barmaid who falls for a vampire, a vampire with a gorgeous girlfriend at that but one night he comes in to the club alone and seems upset so Zoe, our barmaid, tries her utmost to cheer him up!
If you read this hot shot story and enjoy it, you might want to check out my other Paranormal titles, The Point and Moon Shy which appears in the Over the Moon anthology.
