Sex in the City Paris reviewed.

I’m afraid I haven’t been to Paris and reviewed the joys of Sex in the city of lovers but I have read an exciting anthology that strives to give you an insight into the sexier side of the city.

Anthology reading has its own special delight, it’s like sitting down with a bag of pick and mix sweets. You don’t really know what you’re going to get next and you will discover favourite flavours as you go through the bag and look forward to getting those ones again.
Sex in the City Paris, Edited by Maxim Jakubowski is a real mixed bag. You’ve got allsorts in between its covers and I am sure you will find stories in there which float your boat. The linking theme is, of course, the city of Paris but each story picks different areas of the city and each piece gives you a different impression of what many people consider to be the most romantic place in the world.
Each story is hot and sensual but like with my bag of pick and mix I have picked out a couple that are my very favourites. The Red Brassiere by Ella Regina is not only clever but entertainingly vivid and sensual too. It is flirty and light and then serious and passionate but it is a wonderful flight of fancy that carries you along with French abandonment from beginning to end.
Gargloyles and Sidewalk Café’s by Peter Baltensperger has a particularly artistic Parisian flair to it. Peter Baltensperger creates a very convincing artist named Jacqueline and her lusty adventures are both sensual and exotic and it is a story which could not be set anywhere else, it really does shout Paris with every written word.
Toni Sands story, Some Virgins Learn Quickly in theory, could have happened anywhere but in choosing Paris she has given it a very particular zest that adds to the excitement of the story. It is so detailed and descriptive that you feel you are there in Paris with Helen as she is seduced not only by the older Emile but by the city itself. It may well be a story that could sit in any town or city the world over but it is in Paris that it flourishes and becomes all the more arousing for its setting.
Not all the stories were particularly to my liking in this anthology, I have to be honest but I did find it to generally be an entertaining and erotic read. It is an adventure, where you’re not certain what might come next or who you will meet around the next corner but it will leave you with a desire to see Paris, to experience it and to be seduced in the city of lovers.

Toni Sands has written a Lovely Review of my e-Xcite Story, Restoration. It’s a beautifully written review and here is part of it for you.
If you want to read more just pop over to Toni’s Website and check out the ‘Reviews’ tab and you’ll find Restoration listed there.
So, do you fancy an excerpt from Restoration? Oh go on then, here’s one just for you:
I am exhausted. I’ve been working on Priapus till all hours. In my flat at night I lie in my bed, fantasising about the statue I’ve been working on all day. I imagine him in flesh, his cock red and throbbing and I rub myself raw attaining orgasm after orgasm but never feeling satisfied. My vibrators are too small, my fingers too familiar. I want his cock, I need Priapus to split me open and take his tribute from my wide spread verdant valleys.
“Well, he’s not such and ugly bastard after all, then.” Doctor Browning’s voice comes from the other side of the table, close to my ear and I jump, startled.
“I wish you’d announce yourself before walking in.” I hiss, my heart thumping.
“I did, but you were so engrossed with Priapus here, you didn’t hear me.”“Oh, right. Well, you have to concentrate when you’re doing such delicate tasks, Doctor.”
“I imagine so, I certainly do. He’s looking good so far, Theresa.”
“Thank you,” I smile, “He’s definitely a Roman impression of the god. The Greeks had him down as some kind of ugly midget with a big prick. This Priapus is much too pretty and tall to be Greek.”
“I’d agree, and where he was found backs that up. He is a handsome chap, isn’t he?” Doctor Browning runs a finger over Priapus’ hair, over his nose and traces gently over his lips. I lick my own as these actions seem blatantly sexual to me, though they can’t be. I mean Doctor Browning just isn’t like that, is he?
“Anyway,” he pulls his hand away like he’s been scolded, “Great work Theresa. I’ll be back next week to check on the progress.”
“Okay.” I nod and then lower my eyes to my task once more.
Restoration is just 99p from Xcite and right now you can choose 3 ebooks and only pay for 2 of them so have a browse through their erotic selection and treat yourself today.

Now this is a holiday I can really get behind!

6th July (Okay I’m a day late, don’t tell anyone) is International Kissing Day and I LOVE Kisses. One of my utmost favourite things to write is the first kiss between two new characters. It is exciting, passionate and the anticipation leading up to it is breath taking. I love it, love it, love it. So to celebrate International Kissing day I’m going to share with you 3 different first kisses.
Our first comes from the exhibitionist tale Naked Rain which you can find in e-Xcite’s Big and Beautiful Anthology.
“I walked outside and expected no one to be around. I was delighted when I looked over the bushes to see you standing there, so beautifully displaying your gorgeous body.”
“Oh, well, I don’t know about that.” She stuttered and the arms that had fallen to her side as she enjoyed the rain crept up towards covering her breasts again.
“No, no, please don’t cover yourself, you look so good. The water just caresses your beautiful curves.” Richard took a step forward and reached out a hand as if to touch her.
“No, don’t,” She cried, “we can’t- you mustn’t-I’m old enough to be your mother.”
“I doubt that, “he replied and stepped closer, “and honestly, I don’t care, you’re fucking hot and I want you.”
His fingers touched her as those words zinged through her mind. He skimmed his hands down her side, delicately sliding his thumb over her breast and stomach, his hand stopping just above her buttocks. Before she could protest he pulled her to him and their lips collided as his arm wrapped around her and pulled her tightly to him.
His lips pressed against hers, they vibrated with his moan of pleasure and Sandra’s mind stopped working and her instincts kicked in. She kissed back with fevered passion. She enjoyed the undulation of his soft, delicate lips against hers and revelled in the feeling. This was just what she’d imagined, just what she’d fantasised about and the heavy droplets of water covering her back just added to the arousal coursing through her veins.
This one is for all you people sweltering in hot July heat, it’s an excerpt from Making it Real. Maybe all this snow will cool you down a little!
“No, no, no.” I tried to wriggle from his grasp, but as he leant down to the ground to scoop up the snow, he pulled me with him. I kept giggling, shrieking and struggling to escape, but he was holding me fast and he pulled the zip down on my mac until my chest was exposed. He smooshed a massive handful of cold whiteness into the creamy flesh there, pressed it down and squashed it against my exposed skin. It took my breath away. He held his hands there as it melted. The icy shock tickled and made me giggle and gasp. When the mass of moistness melted completely, he left his cold hand pressed against my warming skin. The shock of his touch, so intimately pressed over my heart, took my breath away.
“I surrender.” I gasped, my heart thumping.
“Well, I’m not going to let you.” He grinned, turning to scoop up more snow.
“No!” I screamed and tried to pull away from him. All I managed to do was overbalance. I fell to the snow covered lawn, pulling Will down on top of me.
Laughing hysterically, he spluttered, “Are you okay?”
I was giggling, too.
“Yes, I’m fine.” I felt his body heat warming me. I became aware of my breath as it escaped in short pants.
“You’ve got bit of snow just here…” he barely whispered the words as his fingers brushed gently against my cheek. They were cold but they heated me up, slowly at first. The flames of lust licked down his fingers to my cheek and then to my neck and lower to suffuse my chest. His fingers traced a light pattern, softly stroking as our eyes locked. I was lost in the depths of those treacle-coloured orbs. I wanted to lean up and press my lips to his.
I thought I was dreaming when I realised his lips were pressed against mine. My eyes closed and my hands wrapped around his neck. His lips were cold, but then so were mine. As we gently undulated them, the heat flowed through from the points where we were joined to suffuse our lips, mouths, hearts and whole bodies with a burning urge, a fiery need.
The kiss was not satisfied with being small and tight-lipped. It compelled me to press my lips harder to his, to move them apart and slide them all over the surface of his mouth. His lips were soft, supple and giving. He was kissing me as strongly as I was kissing him, his hand gently cupped my face. The snow below me was cold, but it was a delicious contrast to the heat of his body on top of mine. He pulled his lips from me.
“We should go inside,” he gasped, “before you catch pneumonia.”
And last but not least, this is the first kiss between Jack and Emma in Spiced Vanilla which is available as an eBook and as an Audiobook too!
I straightened, bending my elbows and bringing my bound hands together in front of me as if I were venerating him as my leader. He stared at me for a moment, his gaze taking in the bound hands, the chocolate-smudged breasts, the long, exposed legs in little ankle boots, that must look ridiculous with my general nakedness. A noise rumbled from his chest to his lips and sent my senses into overdrive.
He ripped off his T-shirt, his apron already wrapped around my wrists, and strode over. He pushed me until my bum was level with the table. His legs rested between my thighs, his arms around my waist, and he lifted me onto the table, with no outward sign of exertion. I wanted to run my hands up and down his shoulder muscles. They bulged so magnificently, I guessed that baking built good upper body strength. It must have done for him to lift me with so little effort.
It was strange how his next action seemed so much more intimate, so much more sexual than anything that had gone before. As he rested between my thighs, he cupped my cheeks with his strong, slightly sticky hands and leant in for a long, hard and demanding kiss.
It pulled my desire through me and I found it all to be displayed there, where our lips touched and met. He could feel how turned on I was , how desperate I was for this, for him, and I did not feel embarrassed. I felt empowered as he forced his tongue between my lips and I pressed my pelvis up, longing to feel his fingers, his tongue or his cock thrust inside me there.
I hope you will make the most of international Kissing Day, now go and kiss someone, quick, it’s the perfect excuse to pucker up!

hello all,
I hope you’ve had a good and relaxing weekend. Mine was full of fun and family, you can’t beat that really. I discovered once more that I am a complete softie when I spent the last half hour or so of Princess and the Frog in tears. What can I say? I’m a sucker for a good love story.
Now, talking about suckers, I want to mention to you my vampire story, The Point.

Toni Sands, a fellow author and all round lovely lady has reviewed The Point and this is part of what she has to say about it:
Lush descriptions of blood dripping, juices flowing and good intentions dissolving inhabit The Point. It’s not just a vampire story. It’s a story of lust and love. And that, my friend, is too potent a combination to resist.
To read the rest pop over to tonisands.co.uk and look at the review page.
I had a really busy week last week and am happy to say this one should be fair less stressful. I did finish my Christmas story ‘Snowed in at School’ and I am waiting to hear back from my editor about it. I also got in my edits for Stopping Point, book two of the Point Vamp series and that will be released in October.
Stopping Point is about Josh, one of three vampires we meet briefly in The point and we follow his journey from the moment he is turned to discovering who his sire is and how he copes with being a brand new vampire. It is a funny, sexy and touching story and the romance in it will take you by surprise I’m sure.
I am cruel teasing you with details 3 months before it’ll be released, but I’m excited about it.
Now I have to decide on what to write next! I like this bit. :)
