A Flash for International Kissing Day!

posted in Blog | Tagged: , , , , , , , ,

Talk about multi-tasking! It’s Wednesday and that means Flash fiction! Not only am I using the Silver Flash prompt ‘It’s always the quiet ones, y’know’ and the Wank Wednesday prompt ‘shine’ I add in a great big juicy snog to celebrate International Kissing Day…all in 1000 words too. No wonder I feel worn out!

It’s hot, hot, hot folks, you’ve been warned!

Sunshine.

Sunshine. I mean, most people take it for granted but for a Brit sunshine in the actual summer is like a dessert you only get on special occasions so you have so much of it you feel sick. So the sun is out and so am I. I’m a writer, a recluse a geeky girl with curves and glasses. I avoid contact with the real world as much as possible but the sunshine calls to me.

Plus I’m blocked on my latest work so the break will do me good, that’s what I tell myself anyway. I’ve found a shaded corner at the local park under the spreading boughs of a horse chestnut tree. Yes, I love the sun but if I let it directly on my pale skin I will be the one shining for a week and I don’t want that. So I have the shade, a thick blanket and an even thicker book. I’m set up for a day of enjoying the sun. Okay, the shade but I’d have no shade without the sun so my point stands.

“Sally, is that you?” I hear the voice and drop the book to my chest. I look up and there is Chris, a guy I haven’t seen in over ten years.

“Chris?” I reply, scrambling to my feet, “Chris Fletcher?”

“Yes! Sally it is you.” He smiles and walks over into the shadows. “What are you doing here?” “Reading a book, enjoying the sun,” I smile awkwardly. I want to hug him but I’d always wanted to touch him and never had the opportunity. We’d met in college, he was good at everything and infinitely popular and I was his complete opposite.

“It’s good to see you.” He throws his arms around me which takes me by surprise but I soon relax into his warm, hard body and squeeze him back.

“Lovely to see you too,” I continue, “it’s been a long time.”

“Yeah, it has. What are you up to these days?”

Ah, the question. I answer it tactfully at first.

“I’m a freelance writer and author.”

“Really? That’s brilliant. You always wanted to be an author.”

“Yeah,” I jump in before he could ask the inevitable, “and are you a doctor now?”

“Oh no, would I be here if I were? No, I started up a little business, it’s doing well actually.”

“Good,” I smile, “I’m glad you’re doing well.”

“Let’s sit down,” Chris points to my blanket, “it feels so formal standing here.”

I sit on my blanket, he lies down and stretches out beside me. His shorts show off his tanned, muscled legs. I try hard not to expose too much of my legs as I tuck my swirly skirt in around me.

“So what do you write?” he asks. I knew he would.

“Erotica.”

“Oh, wow.”

“It’s always the quiet ones y’know. “ I wait for the inevitable excuse and walk away.

“Good on you,” he lays a hand on my thigh making me tingle, “are you happy in your work?”

“Love it,” I reply, “and I manage to make a living from it.”

“That’s what counts.”

“Do you enjoy your work?”

“Not really, no.” He sighs, “I did what my father told me. It hasn’t made me happy.”

“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that.” I felt sad for him, he had so much potential and enthusiasm.

“I even married the woman he told me to.”

My heart sinks. Of course he’s married.

“She divorced me a few months ago,” he continues, “took everything, least we had no kids. I wanted kids.”

“Oh Chris, you’ve had a bad time of it.” I lay my hand over his, still on my thigh, and squeeze, “but you can start afresh now, pursue something you want for a change.”

“Yes,” he smiles, “you’re right and I’m going to start with you.”

He pulls himself up and presses his lips to mine. I’m in shock, I’ve dreamed of this so many times and here, as the sun shines on a rare British summer’s day I am being kissed by the man of my fantasies.

“I wanted to do this when we were in college but I didn’t.”

He slid his hand up and under my sundress as I clung to his shoulders for support.

“I didn’t because I was a fool and always regretted it. I never knew much about you but that you treated me like a human being,” his fingers continued up my thigh as he spoke, “that you smiled at me and meant it. You weren’t after my father’s millions.”

I gasp as his fingers find my pubic hair.

“No knickers, I like it.”

His fingers plunge between my sticky wet lips and I wonder if the sun has gone to my head and I am really dreaming all this. I don’t care, it is perfect so I immerse myself in it. I kiss him, my hands roam down to his shorts and feel the bump within. I free him, aware of the cool breeze around us, the noises of the park but I don’t care if we’re caught.

I take him in my hand, his cock is thick, hard and feels perfect as I pump up and down in time with his finger fucking. Our lips never part for more than a split second as the kiss deepens and intensifies and creates a bridge for our lusts to flow freely across. When we come, together and explosively we moan and gasp and kiss and then laugh.

“I’m so glad I came for a walk in the park today,” He says, re-zipping his shorts as I rearrange my skirt, “I have always wanted to find you again.”

“I’m glad you found me,” I say, kissing his cheek, “I’ve always wanted you.”

“Shall we walk in the sunshine? It’s not far to mine…”

“Yes,” I reply, “please.”

And so begins a new chapter. My erotic dreams come true. Thank goodness for the lure of the sun!

I hope you enjoyed my little flash for International Kising Day!

    Uniform Beahaviour review!

    posted in Blog | Tagged: , , ,

Hello all. Just a quick one today as I’m not feeling well. (Yes, yes, I am searching for sympathy!) But I couldn’t wait to crow about a brilliant new review for the wonderful Uniform Behaviour anthology!

And my story, Dirty Deeds gets a great mention in this review!

All I can say is wow! I loved the sensual scene in this one it was a little bit of rough and a little bit of sweet but with the right touch of class.

    Tardis, Turtles and Smut!

    posted in Blog |

I had a fantastic weekend. Bright and early Saturday morning I set off for the capital. After fighting my way through the packed tube and throwing my bag down in my hotel room I went off to explore for a while as I had some hours to kill before the main event off my visit.

So, trotting around the British Library I found the first item in my title, yes, the TARDIS, sadly, the Doctor wasn’t home though!

    tardis

Also I read this poem by Mervyn Peake which I found very apt.

So, I freshened up, hit the tube for a mercifully short journey and soon saw familiar faces at the bar across the road from SH! Hoxton.

I’m sure you recognise my face on the left of the photo, then we have KD Grace, Kay JayBee, Jacqueline Applebee, Lexie Bay, Justine Elyot & husband and Janine Ashbless. Some I’ve met before and a couple were new friends who’s company I thoroughly enjoyed.

So as time ticked on we headed over the road the the light, bright pink of SH! Inside waited the lovely Lucy Felthouse (a listener for the evening just like me) with Rebecca Bond and the phototastic Parv Roopray. I met yet more new people. A lovely reader named Liz as well as Rubyyy Jones, a vision in red and Suzanne Portnoy and many more. It was certainly a hot a steamy night down those SH! stairs…

And then there was the hot weather too. ;)

Rachel Kramer Bussel kicked off her evening with a racy reading of one of her own stories and then the assembled readers read stories or excerpts from stories found in Rachel’s anthologies like Gotta Have it, Orgasmic and Smooth.

All the readings were brilliant and apart from the odd chuckle (Sex can be funny and funny is definitely sexy!) the room was silent as each proud author took to the stage, well it was a pink sofa actually but you know what I mean.

    readers

It was a brilliant night and I heartily thank the SH! girls for all their hospitality, they have big hearts and easy laughs. I can see I will have to find an excuse to visit them again very soon!

I had further fun with a group of lovely smut writers over at Pizza express just up the road from SH! Hoxton. Great service by the way! As I munched yummy pizza and decadent cheesecake the conversation flowed and as several people remarked it was lovely to feel somewhat normal for a change! I could talk sex and writing and these wonderful people understood me and often had felt the same things too. A glorious thing to experience I can tell you.

And we covered some interesting topics of conversation. How to make bath bombs, the ‘joy’ of visiting a cinema full of rowdy kids, hot male bods, Erotica London (the event), childhood sweets and, somewhat randomly, turtles. The time flew by and I just didn’t want to say goodbye at the end of it all. I had to though. I needed sleep and then to get home the next day…another 5 hour coach journey. Yep, I am mad.

So love and thanks goes out to every person who made this past weekend such fun. I can’t wait for the next time!
